Spectators: 6687 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1687, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lucas Rodas got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cruz Azul's zone, Sergio Lia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucas Tomi came out of the goal and Sergio Lia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Cruz Azul getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Victorino Silvanito hit a great ball. A hard shot by Severiano Nataniel from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Lucas Tomi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 13th minute, Chilibroste AFC's Lucas Rodas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lucas Tomi. Lucas Tomi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 17 played minutes, Cruz Azul's Angel Chano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carolo Ongile came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cruz Azul reached it. Cristobal Enmanuel struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Carolo Ongile didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruz Azul. Cristobal Enmanuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Ongile made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Rius in the 29th minute of play. Saturnino Belarmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Lucas Tomi made a huge save. Saturnino Belarmo struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Lucas Tomi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilibroste AFC. Cruz Azul's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lucas Rodas 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Lucas Tomi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Rodas in the 41st minute of play. Lucas Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Tomi having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Melquiades Rius made the kick off in the second half. Ramon Ibon's late challenge caught a Chilibroste AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Ibon helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cruz Azul getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ramon Ibon hit a great ball. After 55 minutes Cruz Azul's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Severiano Nataniel who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Severiano Nataniel almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cruz Azul's Lucas Tomi did a great save. After 56 minutes of play, Chilibroste AFC's Lucas Rodas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucas Tomi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lucas Tomi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucas Rodas's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Lucas Rodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Tomi having to interfere. Carolo Ongile showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Rius in the 68th minute of the match. Cristobal Enmanuel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Ongile having to interfere. Saturnino Belarmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Lucas Tomi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Rodas in the 79th minute of play forced Cruz Azul's goalkeeper Lucas Tomi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Enmanuel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Carolo Ongile made a huge save. Melquiades Rius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Carolo Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Tomi came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Chilibroste AFC's Saturnino Belarmo. But to his dismay, Saturnino Belarmo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Cruz Azul's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
