In the 3rd match minute, Eustolia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Lizbeth to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Saverio Loco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leonel Abechuco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Anaya was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 27 minutes of play, Eustolia's Simon Virila made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isaac Cordarell was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Saverio Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Anaya was a little too slow when Leonel Abechuco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Simon Virila made a precise shot to the right of Isaac Cordarell. Labardén's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The supporters of Labardén booed when Eustolia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Leonel Abechuco made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Leonel Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Labardén's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Abechuco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Anaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Eustolia getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Clodoveo Toli hit a great ball. Mario Selatse took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Anaya. Eustolia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eustolia's Nicasio Venceslas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Labardén's Mario Selatse couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Eustolia. Isaac Cordarell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Virila's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Carlos Anaya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Eustolia's Edgard Napier got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Labardén. Mario Selatse stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Anaya. 3-2. When Mario Selatse fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Labardén's protests and gave Mario Selatse a yellow card for diving instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eustolia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Labardén.
