After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Freddy Salvatore managed to get in a good position for a shot. America's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Salvatore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebio Arlo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the match, Rodeopampa's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Salvatore came free, but Eusebio Arlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. America's Fernando Beturian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Manni in the 11th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Venceslao during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, America was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes, Rodeopampa's Segundo Emmanuel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Beturian came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rodeopampa reached it. Rodeopampa's Eusebio Arlo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Rodeopampa from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, America's Freddy Salvatore sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebio Arlo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes of play, Rodeopampa's Ruperto Euloxu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Beturian was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Severo Irrintzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Apolo Chus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Beturian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Arlo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Platon's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Lázaro Platon took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Eusebio Arlo to make any attempt to save it. After 47 minutes of play, Rodeopampa's Apolo Chus made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Beturian was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Platon made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Lázaro Platon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusebio Arlo. Rodeopampa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Platon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. America's Silverio Guillelmo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Delmiro Maura, made in the 61st minute of the game. Lázaro Platon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Ruperto Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lázaro Platon struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Eusebio Arlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America. When Lázaro Platon came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the America fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Platon couldn't finish the play. When Ruperto Euloxu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodeopampa's protests and gave Ruperto Euloxu a yellow card for diving instead. Fernando Beturian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Chus in the 69th minute. Rodeopampa's Eusebio Arlo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Platon in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rodeopampa's Benito Huly got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lázaro Platon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aureliano Victoro struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Eusebio Arlo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Lázaro Platon sped through Rodeopampa's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eusebio Arlo. A collision led to Rodeopampa getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Victor Harri hit a great ball. Lázaro Platon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Victoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Eusebio Arlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. America walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
