Aaron Savion came out of the goal and Generoso Romildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Generoso Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Romildo in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aaron Savion, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the last second Aaron Savion throw himself and got hold of the ball when Konrad Wolnik in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ignacio Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ignacio Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Moroleón FC booed when River LU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Romildo got free with Aaron Savion in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgardo Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Roano scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Osoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Generoso Romildo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Moroleón FC's zone, Konrad Wolnik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Savion came out of the goal and Konrad Wolnik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robustiano Roano came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgardo Osoitz could save by the left post. Apolo Iago's late challenge caught a Moroleón FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolo Iago helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Moroleón FC booed when River LU FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Iago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robustiano Roano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Edgardo Osoitz made a huge save. Aaron Savion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Wolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Generoso Romildo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Aaron Savion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Generoso Romildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgardo Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Tiadoro in the 94th minute of the match. Edgardo Osoitz was a little too slow when Cristo Tiadoro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-2.
