Ridavia's Rosendo Eneto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteban Colon in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC barcelona's Rodolfo Geleberto got a free kick in the 13th minute. When Esteban Colon came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Colon couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedict Hanley in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Eneto saved Ridavia from getting behind. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Baldomero Lastur with Anibal Kauldi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 40th minute, Anibal Kauldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guido Behe was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedict Hanley in the 47th minute of play forced Ridavia's goalkeeper Rosendo Eneto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Belo was the one to do the kick off. Ridavia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Esteban Colon scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Eneto, making the score, 2-1. Guido Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Belo in the 58th minute of play. FC barcelona's Benedict Hanley got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esteban Colon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th minute, Esteban Colon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ridavia's Rosendo Eneto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict Hanley in the 80th minute of play. Esteban Colon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 92 played minutes FC barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Donato Mouricio. Many of FC barcelona's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. FC barcelona may have spent more time on the ball, but Ridavia were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
