Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Javier Sein started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 5 minutes, Juan Oxarra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vaga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Oxarra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dionisio Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Sein in the 9th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Marcelino Fidele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vaga FC and the Chuquis AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vaga FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Marcelino Fidele hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Javier Sein managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chuquis AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Sein was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Javier Sein's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dionisio Pere was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Rami in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Pere saved Vaga FC from getting behind. After 24 played minutes Vaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Sendoa. Dionisio Pere came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Chuquis AFC's Donato Rami. But to his dismay, Donato Rami quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 41st match minute, Chuquis AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristides Etxatxu to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes into the game, Vaga FC's Marcelino Fidele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruben Gabino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Juan Oxarra during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Igor Refugio's late challenge caught a Vaga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Refugio helped the player get up and apologised. If Constantino Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Laurendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chuquis AFC's zone, Constantino Laurendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruben Gabino came out of the goal and Constantino Laurendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Vaga FC's Constantino Laurendi got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Constantino Laurendi in the 68th minute of play forced Chuquis AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Constantino Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Gabino having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Constantino Laurendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vaga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Donato Rami recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Chuquis AFC defense, Constantino Laurendi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Gabino. The Chuquis AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Gabino should have stopped the shot. After 82 played minutes Vaga FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Fidele. Dionisio Pere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Javier Sein's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Juan Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ruben Gabino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Gabino having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Chuquis AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Laurendi came free, but Ruben Gabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Constantino Laurendi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Vaga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Laurendi couldn't finish the play.
