In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drabble's goalkeeper Victoriano Nayely, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Anier Senen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Drabble was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Valentine to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Anier Senen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Pescadores FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Haroldo Senin hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Drabble's zone, Jorge Lixandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Nayely came out of the goal and Jorge Lixandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drabble's Victoriano Nayely proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Drabble from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Albano Cuartio made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Haroldo Senin during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Pescadores FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Haroldo Senin hit a great ball. Filiberto Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Cuartio in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Albano Cuartio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Filiberto Videl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Feliberto Licerio's late challenge caught a Drabble's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliberto Licerio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atletico Pescadores FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Feliberto Licerio hit a great ball. Victoriano Nayely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atletico Pescadores FC's Filiberto Videl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Cuartio in the 73rd minute of play. Victoriano Nayely made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Lixandro in the 77th minute of play. Filiberto Videl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benicio Oinatz in the 80th minute. In the 81st match minute, Atletico Pescadores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Senen to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Drabble's Leo Natanael got a free kick in the 88th minute. Anier Senen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victoriano Nayely having to interfere. The supporters of Atletico Pescadores FC booed when Drabble was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Tiso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Lixandro took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoriano Nayely. Victoriano Nayely dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Victoriano Nayely took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Pescadores FC fully deserved thier win.
