Donato Betadur acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Orlando Bernard. Dubai's Lucas Estefan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Abeitia in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Dubai got a freekick which was hit by Abel Obano. In the 25thth minute of the game Leandro Abeitia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dubai's Lucas Estefan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Tiburones's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Montrel came free, but Donato Betadur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tiburones booed when Dubai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Palos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Montrel to strike the kick off in the second half. Donato Betadur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelino Montrel's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Stephen during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Filomeno Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Abeitia had several of the Dubai's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dubai's Filomeno Stephen got a free kick in the 67th minute. Tiburones's Laureano Sidro was substituted for Amado Emesto. In the 70th minute of the match Norberto Herauso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lucas Estefan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Tiburones booed when Dubai was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Obano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Moises Jerold dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lucas Estefan, 0-3. Lucas Estefan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. After having played for 87 minutes, Gonzalo Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiburones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Dubai fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Tiburones were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
