But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Louis couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, EXTRATERRESTRES's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Ugaitz came free, but Fausto Elodio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Gustau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Elodio having to interfere. Maximiliano Menendo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Lucas Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quijana's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Ugaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fausto Elodio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fausto Elodio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Gustau in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to EXTRATERRESTRES getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Candido Abajas hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Lucas Ugaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fausto Elodio. EXTRATERRESTRES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Ugaitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When Nicanor Frans fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quijana's protests and gave Nicanor Frans a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, one of Quijana:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quijana. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for EXTRATERRESTRES. Gerardo Locaio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Maximiliano Menendo. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Louis made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Evaristo Gustau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quijana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EXTRATERRESTRES the free kick. After having played for 60 minutes, Guido Lorenz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quijana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Lorenz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Louis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Menendo having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Ismael Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Ugaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Elodio having to interfere. Lucas Ugaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Donato Louis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EXTRATERRESTRES fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The supporters of EXTRATERRESTRES booed when Quijana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Felipillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Louis in the 89th minute of play forced Quijana's goalkeeper Maximiliano Menendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donato Louis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Florentino Ferrando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Gustau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Fausto Elodio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
