Spectators: 5645 (Terracing: 3900, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 50) Eusebio Umbruso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Gandofi getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Raimundo Arotza hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Rosendo Orlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gandofi's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Orlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Modesto Jaen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Rosendo Orlin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modesto Jaen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Bayer Munchen's zone, Rosendo Orlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Jaen came out of the goal and Rosendo Orlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Eusebio Umbruso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Modesto Jaen was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 41 minutes into the match, Gandofi's goalkeeper Fausto Ekhi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Erroman. Eusebio Umbruso struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Modesto Jaen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gandofi. Luciano Erroman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Ekhi having to interfere. Modesto Jaen came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Gandofi's Rosendo Orlin. But to his dismay, Rosendo Orlin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Veto to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Eusebio Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luciano Erroman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd match minute, FC Bayer Munchen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Oriche to maneuver through the defense. Modesto Jaen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Umbruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Felipe Oriche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Bayer Munchen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gandofi the free kick. In the 71st minute, Felipe Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Jaen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Francisco Illart. In the 83rd minute Eusebio Umbruso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Modesto Jaen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Umbruso in the 84th minute of play forced FC Bayer Munchen's goalkeeper Modesto Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gandofi's Rosendo Orlin got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Umbruso in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Bayer Munchen's goalkeeper Modesto Jaen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, FC Bayer Munchen's Eleuterio Veto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Ekhi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gandofi eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
