In the 23rd match minute, REAL UNION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Rik to maneuver through the defense. Felix Lluciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of ML United booed when REAL UNION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Rik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Rik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felix Lluciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Rodrigo Rik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo Rik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Rodrigo Rik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Lluciano was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Rodrigo Rik hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Felix Lluciano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo Rik's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Jaime Gaizko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The REAL UNION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 77thth minute of the game Rodrigo Rik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ML United's Felix Lluciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Rik in the 79th minute of play forced ML United's goalkeeper Felix Lluciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. REAL UNION's Rodrigo Rik got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Amado Osoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Lluciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Rodrigo Rik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. REAL UNION's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
