Alfonso Bela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Ebardo in the 5th minute of play. Alfonso Bela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsenio Ebardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Angelo Clodio threw the ball into play from the sideline. Campeonatleticos FC's Felipe Katia quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Ebardo in the 13th minute of play forced Caballeros de Córdoba's goalkeeper Alfonso Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 22nd minute, Arsenio Ebardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campeonatleticos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Felipillo got free with Dante Chayo in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28thth minute of the game Benedicto Salomone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Caballeros de Córdoba's Alfonso Bela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benedicto Salomone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Alfonso Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arsenio Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Caballeros de Córdoba players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Campeonatleticos FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Ebardo made a kick off. Campeonatleticos FC's attentive Pastor Mendebal managed to snatch the ball when Roque Tavio made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Arsenio Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Alfonso Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Caballeros de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Marko to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Caballeros de Córdoba's zone, Arsenio Ebardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Bela came out of the goal and Arsenio Ebardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Caballeros de Córdoba's goalkeeper Alfonso Bela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedicto Salomone. Arsenio Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Bela having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Pascual Valerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicasio Enmanuel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Chayo. Campeonatleticos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 86 played minutes Caballeros de Córdoba got a freekick which was hit by Simon Fagildo. Ramon Mincho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alfonso Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute Felipe Katia clashed with another player. He fell to the ground and was in great pain. It was obvious that he couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Fagildo during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the final whistle sounded Campeonatleticos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caballeros de Córdoba.
