Serafin Ipar hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Horacio Cordarrol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabricio Felo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horacio Cordarrol's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Horacio Cordarrol sped through Belén's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabricio Felo. In the 34th minute, Leonides Ovando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Horacio Cordarrol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabricio Felo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Fabricio Felo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Cordarrol in the 44th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Santo Intxixu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Prudencio Egoitz. That made the score 1-2 in the 86 minute of play.
