In the 5th minute, Alvaro Gonza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Bonnement's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Tab came free, but Ubaldo Tajo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20thth minute of the game Cirilo Eleazar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bonnement's Ubaldo Tajo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th minute, Agustin Azeari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Filomeno Elodio managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Bonnement's Fernando Urbes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Salvador Gaizkine struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Filomeno Elodio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bonnement. Cirilo Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ubaldo Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Vladimiro Tab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Aguaray defense, Fernando Urbes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Filomeno Elodio. The Aguaray fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Filomeno Elodio should have stopped the shot. Fernando Urbes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filomeno Elodio having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Tab to strike the kick off in the second half. If Desiderio Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cirilo Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ubaldo Tajo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Urbes in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Elodio saved Aguaray from getting behind. When Aguaray's Vladimiro Tab in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bonnement's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Gaizkine in the 70th minute of play forced Aguaray's goalkeeper Filomeno Elodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Vladimiro Tab got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Salvador Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fernando Urbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute Salvador Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Elodio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Salvador Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute, Rigoberto Kaxen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Gaizkine's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Elodio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, one of Bonnement:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bonnement. Ubaldo Tajo went to the wrong direction when Agustin Azeari was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Fernando Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
