But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elvio Palban couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, Elvio Palban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Animán fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Cordarrel during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Claudio Juvenal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Buinton, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Animán's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Gaur came free, but Maximo Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Victoriano Gaur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Argider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Calmucó AFC's goalkeeper Claudio Juvenal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Animán's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Eate came free, but Maximo Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alejandro Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Eate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauricio Donio charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauricio Donio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Animán's Mauricio Donio got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Alejandro Eate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Samuel Buinton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Juvenal having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Animán's zone, Victoriano Gaur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Argider came out of the goal and Victoriano Gaur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 61 minutes of play, Calmucó AFC's Alejandro Eate made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Argider was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Calmucó AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rodrigo Rito hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Elvio Palban put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Claudio Juvenal. In the 80thth minute of the game Samuel Buinton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Calmucó AFC's Claudio Juvenal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 85th minute of the match Mauricio Donio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. Calmucó AFC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Animán's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfonso Orlandus took the corner. The corner ended in Alfonso Orlandus almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Animán's Maximo Argider did a great save. In the 92nd match minute, Calmucó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danilo Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. If Victoriano Gaur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Animán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
