Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Ichigualasto's Hipolito Vincent started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ichigualasto's Astor Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Oliverios in the 3rd minute of play. Wilfredo Urbes charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Urbes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Guillermina FC! 9 minutes into the match, Severino Edorta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Astor Nerio. Ichigualasto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Edorta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Ichigualasto's goalkeeper Astor Nerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Edorta. Tomás Oliverios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Astor Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipolito Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipolito Vincent scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ciro Abancens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 34 minutes, Hipolito Vincent made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Guillermina FC's Ciro Abancens tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moises Emeterio struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Ciro Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ichigualasto. When Prudencio Dino fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guillermina FC's protests and gave Prudencio Dino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Prudencio Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ciro Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Moises Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Abancens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomás Oliverios made a kick off. The supporters of Guillermina FC booed when Ichigualasto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Berriotxoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hipolito Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ciro Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Astor Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Severino Edorta struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Astor Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guillermina FC. Ciro Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Vincent in the 74th minute of play. Moises Emeterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ichigualasto getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Paolo Camerino hit a great ball. Valentin Locaio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Moises Emeterio came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ichigualasto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Emeterio couldn't finish the play. Hipolito Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ichigualasto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ichigualasto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
