The wind increased when Arturo Giro made the kick off in the second half. Luis Fernado came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Potros Diaz's Melquiades Uzuri. But to his dismay, Melquiades Uzuri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The audience was convinced that Melquiades Uzuri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luis Fernado was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. When Leo Ubendu fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ogilvie AFC's protests and gave Leo Ubendu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogilvie AFC's goalkeeper Luis Fernado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Florentino Firmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potros Diaz and the Ogilvie AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Potros Diaz getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Florentino Firmo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ogilvie AFC's zone, Melquiades Uzuri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Fernado came out of the goal and Melquiades Uzuri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arturo Giro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Potros Diaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Bernabe Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Fernado having to interfere. Janusz Przybylo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Giro in the 94th minute of the match. If Melquiades Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Potros Diaz's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
