Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Antonio Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Javiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. But to his dismay, Nereo Gabon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 68 played minutes Avellaneda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Matias Osoro. Avellaneda AFC's Antonio Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Gabon in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Hickmann AFC's goalkeeper Ismael Mincho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Sayvion. In the 77th minute Casimiro Javiero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Nereo Gabon notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Avellaneda AFC's Antonio Marin. Antonio Marin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rodolfo Sayvion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ismael Mincho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
