Santiago Eli dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Agustin Rufo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute of the match Manuel Platon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santiago Eli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgard Rozarius's late challenge caught a Emilia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgard Rozarius helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Trapiche FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Rozarius. 35 minutes into the match, Adan Moise notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Trapiche FC's Basilio Abajas. Basilio Abajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Arnaldo Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Cristofol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adan Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Adan Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Emilia's supporters rose to their feet, but Adan Moise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Abajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnulfo Cristofol to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Trapiche FC's Arnulfo Cristofol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santiago Eli. Santiago Eli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. After 59 played minutes Trapiche FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Bazil. After some careless play in the Emilia defense, Arnulfo Cristofol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Eli. The Emilia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Eli should have stopped the shot. If Arnulfo Cristofol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilia's Santiago Eli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Emilia from getting a goal against them. After 79 played minutes Emilia got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Lopez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Rufo in the 88th minute of play forced Trapiche FC's goalkeeper Basilio Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Eli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Cristofol in the 89th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Eduardo Cordeal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emilia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trapiche FC the free kick. After 90 played minutes Emilia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Cordeal. In the 92nd minute, Eduardo Cordeal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnulfo Cristofol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Trapiche FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
