Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5494, Seating: 1684, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Santiago Nataniel started the match with the kick off. Bertil Hybbert came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Zentena's Horacio Bras. But to his dismay, Horacio Bras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eulalio Quinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Matteo in the 18th minute of play. When Francisco Petrigai fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Pocitos FC's protests and gave Francisco Petrigai a yellow card for diving instead. Cecilio Matthew might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eulalio Quinto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Matthew ran back to his position shaking his head. Eulalio Quinto was a little too slow when Filiberto Matteo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. Bertil Hybbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Francisco Petrigai got his second yellow card in the match during the 34th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Horacio Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Hybbert having to interfere. Filiberto Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horacio Bras's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertil Hybbert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benigno Birjaio to make the kick off. Los Pocitos FC's Bertil Hybbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Los Pocitos FC from getting a goal against them. Filiberto Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eulalio Quinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Santiago Nataniel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eulalio Quinto was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Filiberto Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Hybbert made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Horacio Bras sent off a good shot on target. If Benigno Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
