Vicente Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornelio Froila in the 17th minute of play. Vicente Jerrold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

In the 54th minute, Higinio Ceandro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quiñihual FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Vicente Jerrold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Dream Team F.C.'s Generoso Jakes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vicente Jerrold. That made the score 1-4 after 81 minutes of play. Dream Team F.C.'s Generoso Jakes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Dream Team F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
