He walked away shaking his head. Victor Fliz hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Arcadia AFC's zone, Haroldo Berasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Arias came out of the goal and Haroldo Berasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arcadia AFC's Froilan Xabel got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Troyanos FCMX's Serafino Eguntsenti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Troyanos FCMX from getting a goal against them. Amador Umbruso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafino Eguntsenti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arcadia AFC's Amador Umbruso got a free kick in the 17th minute. Domingos Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Andres Pagomari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Troyanos FCMX's Serafino Eguntsenti got control of the ball when Froilan Xabel tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Domingos Francesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Domingos Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Xabel got free with Serafino Eguntsenti in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Pagomari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingos Francesco to make the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Froilan Xabel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Troyanos FCMX's Serafino Eguntsenti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Amador Umbruso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafino Eguntsenti. Troyanos FCMX's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Umbruso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Arcadia AFC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Marcos Emesto hit a great ball. Amador Umbruso's late challenge caught a Troyanos FCMX's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Umbruso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Troyanos FCMX booed when Arcadia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Umbruso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Serafino Eguntsenti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Froilan Xabel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Troyanos FCMX booed when Arcadia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Libertad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Troyanos FCMX's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Francesco came free, but Serafino Eguntsenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Arcadia AFC's Domingos Francesco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafino Eguntsenti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Troyanos FCMX players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
