The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teobaldo Chus was a little too slow when Maximiliano Jerrald got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Emanuel Abar fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CHIVAS09's protests and gave Emanuel Abar a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in CHIVAS09 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! Jorge Telesforo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Cambranes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Telesforo ran back to his position shaking his head. Conner Gruer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Rafael Cambranes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Chus made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Armando Karmel sent off a good shot on target. After 27 minutes, Joaquin Sayveon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CHIVAS09 and the juveee players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of juveee booed when CHIVAS09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Sayveon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, CHIVAS09's Teobaldo Chus got control of the ball when Armando Karmel tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 46 minutes, Joaquin Sayveon made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. juveee's Rafael Cambranes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Sayveon was the one to do the kick off. Joaquin Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Cambranes having to interfere. With a little luck, juveee's Rafael Cambranes got control of the ball when Joaquin Sayveon tried to sneak it across the goal line.
