Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dario Gerazan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Chumbicha FC's goalkeeper Marco Balendin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Gines. Isaac Gines received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Marco Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paolo Tajo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Dario Gerazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Gerazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Balendin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo's zone, Cornelio Rojelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Piarres came out of the goal and Cornelio Rojelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Dario Gerazan came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Gerazan couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Rojelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Palermo's Ricardo Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prudencio Edwardo in the 28th minute of play. Cornelio Rojelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudencio Edwardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Piarres having to interfere. If Cornelio Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Prudencio Edwardo made the kick off in the second half. If Cornelio Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Hernan Kauldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, Palermo's Isaac Gines sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Balendin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palermo's Isaac Gines got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Chumbicha FC's Braulio Florinio got a free kick in the 77th minute. Palermo's Dario Gerazan got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 84 in the game by Prudencio Edwardo from a close distance when the talented Ricardo Piarres managed to make a qualified save. Palermo's players were relieved. Chumbicha FC's Marco Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Gines in the 95th minute of play. Prudencio Edwardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Piarres having to make a save. In the 96th minute, Cornelio Rojelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Chumbicha FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Palermo from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
