Spectators: 7367 (Terracing: 5526, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) Compuertas FC's Cristo Gonzo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Marco Montrell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lisandro Theodore was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Luciano Larra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Cerilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Compuertas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Arano came free, but Luciano Larra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristo Gonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Lisandro Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Americo Cerilo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Gonzo in the 20th minute of play forced Chacras's goalkeeper Lisandro Theodore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute of the match, Marco Montrell got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lisandro Theodore was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 25 minutes, Cristo Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Compuertas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristo Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Cristo Gonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Theodore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristo Gonzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Chacras's goal looked a bit too open when Cristo Gonzo came free, but Lisandro Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Montrell succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. Cristo Gonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Lisandro Theodore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chacras's zone, Marco Montrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Theodore came out of the goal and Marco Montrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Cerilo to make the kick off. Americo Cerilo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chacras's Timoteo Arano got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Chacras's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Montrell came free, but Lisandro Theodore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Compuertas FC's goalkeeper Luciano Larra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Arano. Chacras's Lisandro Theodore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Gonzo in the 70th minute of play. Compuertas FC's Luciano Larra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Compuertas FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Chacras's zone, Enrique Silviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Theodore came out of the goal and Enrique Silviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 92 minutes into the game, Marco Montrell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lisandro Theodore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Compuertas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
