In the 7th match minute, MANIWISam was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingo Argenis to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th play minute Erasmo Bertin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alberto Eztebe. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Panpili during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Curramalán's Desiderio Panpili got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes in the game, Anibal Distiratsu dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Anibal Distiratsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Alejandro Urtsua left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MANIWISam fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Jorge Uxio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alberto Eztebe having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in MANIWISam's zone, Erasmo Bertin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Eztebe came out of the goal and Erasmo Bertin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorge Uxio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Anibal Distiratsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jorge Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Distiratsu took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Montay. Anacleto Montay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 66 minutes into the game, Domingo Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MANIWISam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curramalán the free kick. When Jorge Uxio came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Curramalán fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Uxio couldn't finish the play. Erasmo Bertin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alberto Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. If Jorge Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 74 minutes, Saverio Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curramalán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Chus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anibal Distiratsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Montay having to interfere. A hard shot 83 in the game by Anibal Distiratsu from a close distance when the talented Anacleto Montay managed to make a qualified save. Curramalán's players were relieved. If Jorge Uxio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Curramalán's Anacleto Montay got control of the ball when Anibal Distiratsu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Curramalán supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MANIWISam's performance. The match ended with a win for MANIWISam.
