Chañarmullo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Esteban Muñoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Lidon having to interfere. When Ferrocarrilera AFC's Enrique Ponce in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Esteban Muñoz charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Esteban Muñoz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Esteban Muñoz hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Chañarmullo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Gaueko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 93 played minutes, Ferrocarrilera AFC's Eulalio Vito shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Txurio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ferrocarrilera AFC reached it. In the 97th match minute, Chañarmullo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Rosio to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ferrocarrilera AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chañarmullo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
