A collision led to Dorados de Sinaloa getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Basilio Rosario hit a great ball. Horacio Demesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Papo in the 14th minute of the match. Florentino Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Demesio having to interfere. Horacio Demesio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aquilino Papo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Aquilino Papo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Horacio Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Club Futbol Real Azteca's Marciano Ignatius got control of the ball when Diego Cesario tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Manuel Teodor took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Marciano Ignatius to make any attempt to save it. Marciano Ignatius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Teodor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30thth minute of the game Aquilino Papo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dorados de Sinaloa's Horacio Demesio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Diego Cesario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dorados de Sinaloa's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Cesario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Ignatius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aquilino Papo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pedro Eleazar came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Club Futbol Real Azteca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Eleazar couldn't finish the play. Aquilino Papo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Demesio having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Aquilino Papo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horacio Demesio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 46th minute Salvador Firme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Teodor to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Aquilino Papo took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Horacio Demesio to make any attempt to save it. Marciano Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Cesario in the 59th minute of play. Horacio Demesio stood somewhat misplaced when Aquilino Papo came free in front of goal and shot 2-4 to the left of him in the 65 minute. 69 minutes into the match, Club Futbol Real Azteca's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Teodor came free, but Marciano Ignatius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aquilino Papo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 75 played minutes Club Futbol Real Azteca got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Tancredo. Horacio Demesio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aquilino Papo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-5 in the 78 minute of play. Astor Dodorol tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Horacio Demesio. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-6 in the 83rd minute. Aquilino Papo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Demesio. Horacio Demesio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. 93 minutes into the match, Club Futbol Real Azteca's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Cesario came free, but Marciano Ignatius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dorados de Sinaloa fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Futbol Real Azteca were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
