In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aguirres's goalkeeper Diego Nayely, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diego Nayely stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Salvidor's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Celso Lorien was slow to take the kick. During this time Aguirres's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Aguirres's corner Celso Lorien fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Eugenio Sidoro quite easily take care of the ball. If Fabian Guilabertus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Constituyentes booed when Aguirres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Teodor didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Constituyentes getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Dalmacio Salvidor hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aguirres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Constituyentes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
