The crowd rose to their feet as Club Deportivo Invictus's Teofilo Cordera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Santo Perez. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Teofilo Cordera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Invictus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Cordera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 11th minute Justino Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Berriotxoa scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Abella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 15 played minutes Chuchucaruana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Iraido. After a defensive mix-up in Chuchucaruana AFC's zone, Teofilo Cordera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santo Perez came out of the goal and Teofilo Cordera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 played minutes Chuchucaruana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Justino Iraido. The supporters of Chuchucaruana AFC booed when Club Deportivo Invictus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Justino Iraido cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Melquiades Abella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Rolado during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Chuchucaruana AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Rolado. Rosendo Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Santo Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Emanuel Berriotxoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Melquiades Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Eriz, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Melquiades Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Guillelmus in the 56th minute of the match. Teofilo Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Club Deportivo Invictus booed when Chuchucaruana AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Eriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club Deportivo Invictus's Melquiades Abella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Invictus from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Chuchucaruana AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Cordera came free, but Santo Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Leonides Intxixu notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Chuchucaruana AFC's Santo Perez. Santo Perez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Berriotxoa in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Eleuterio Oro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eleuterio Oro came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Club Deportivo Invictus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Oro couldn't finish the play. Justino Iraido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Melquiades Abella made a huge save. Melquiades Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chuchucaruana AFC! The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
