After 30 minutes, Orlando Geleberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castaño AFC and the Pique players grew even worse after the yellow card. Castaño AFC's Saturnino Emeterio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Bihar in the 32nd minute of play. After 33 minutes, Prospero Donzel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castaño AFC and the Pique players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pique's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castaño AFC the free kick. In the 34th match minute, Pique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Bihar to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Marcelo Bihar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pique's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Bihar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Argi to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Castaño AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Bihar came free, but Saturnino Emeterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd match minute, Castaño AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Cordairo to maneuver through the defense. 0-1 became the score in the 55th minute when Marcelo Bihar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Cipriano Blasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Galeno went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Arias got free with Saturnino Emeterio in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Romeo Argi came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Castaño AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Argi couldn't finish the play. Cristobal Cordara kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Romeo Argi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Pique getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leandro Ler hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Pique's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Galeno came free, but Cipriano Blasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Prospero Donzel was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 94 minutes had been played. After 95 played minutes Castaño AFC got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Donzel. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
