Spectators: 6680 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 0) Leo Tirso made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Assunta's goalkeeper Rogelio Rio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Joseph. After having played for 5 minutes, Donato Mazuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Assunta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Mazuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Harriet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Refugio in the 12th minute of the match. Anacleto Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rogelio Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Faustino Pes fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Assunta's protests and gave Faustino Pes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Assunta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Pes to maneuver through the defense. Leo Tirso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Rio having to interfere. Rogelio Rio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Tirso, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Froilan Refugio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Copetonas getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ermegildo Leizarraga hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Leo Tirso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Rio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Copetonas's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Poncio came free, but Gervasio Harriet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Harriet having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Froilan Refugio was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ermegildo Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Froilan Refugio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Leo Tirso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Rio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Copetonas's Anacleto Joseph. But to his dismay, Anacleto Joseph quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Anacleto Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Rio having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Anacleto Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Copetonas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Joseph was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gervasio Harriet made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Hermengildo Poncio sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 84 in the game by Hermengildo Poncio from a close distance when the talented Gervasio Harriet managed to make a qualified save. Copetonas's players were relieved. In the 85th minute of the match, Hermengildo Poncio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gervasio Harriet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Anacleto Joseph recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Leo Tirso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Assunta's Rogelio Rio. Rogelio Rio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Assunta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Copetonas.
