Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Apolo Kimetz made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Talleres FC booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Matxin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aureliano Blasi came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Talleres FC's Eduardo Paul. But to his dismay, Eduardo Paul quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 14th minute Apolo Kimetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Blasi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Galsino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Aztore in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match, Apolo Kimetz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aureliano Blasi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Apolo Kimetz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Blasi having to interfere. Talleres FC's Apolo Kimetz got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Bernardino Aztore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Galsino. Talleres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernardino Aztore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciro Elazar during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, one of Gil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gil. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardino Aztore was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Talleres FC booed when Gil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bernardino Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonas Qwinton fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres FC's protests and gave Jonas Qwinton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 72nd match minute, Talleres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Qwinton to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres FC's zone, Bernardino Aztore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Galsino came out of the goal and Bernardino Aztore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Aztore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Galsino having to interfere. Gil's Aureliano Blasi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Kimetz in the 80th minute of play. Talleres FC's Angel Baraquiel suffered a concussion in the 84th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 84 minutes of play Gil's Ciro Elazar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Paul in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Blasi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Camerino got free with Victor Galsino in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Talleres FC.
