If Didier Drogba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvard Ennegren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Firme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. If Didier Drogba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Serafino Pasqual recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Didier Drogba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Firme having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Dolfo during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chapelco getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Albino Dolfo hit a great ball. Celestino Barros hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Chapelco got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Isias. Edvard Ennegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Firme having to interfere. Geraldo Paranaense was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of DASM76:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chapelco:s goal. After 37 played minutes DASM76 got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Amor. 42 minutes into the match, Chapelco's goal looked a bit too open when Didier Drogba came free, but Benjamin Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 44 minutes, Albino Dolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chapelco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Dolfo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Didier Drogba made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Chapelco's zone, Serafino Pasqual stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benjamin Firme came out of the goal and Serafino Pasqual tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Didier Drogba came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the DASM76 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Didier Drogba couldn't finish the play. Roman Ibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafino Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Firme having to interfere. Serafino Pasqual struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Benjamin Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DASM76. Celedonio Matia kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Chapelco's Benjamin Firme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Chapelco from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the match, Chapelco's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Amor came free, but Benjamin Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Ariel Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the game, Roman Ibar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Benjamin Firme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 89th minute, Roberto Sugoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DASM76 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. With a little luck, Chapelco's Benjamin Firme got control of the ball when Serafino Pasqual tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvard Ennegren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Benjamin Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded DASM76 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chapelco.
