When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Robustiano Milio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jairo Egoi to make any attempt to save it. Victorino Saturnin lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. Florentino Cordearo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Yocsina FC's zone, Robustiano Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Egoi came out of the goal and Robustiano Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Endura scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Ladio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Amancio Cheche in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rafael Ladio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robustiano Milio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Esteban Montrelle came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Soledad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esteban Montrelle couldn't finish the play.
