The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Fausto Elodio came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Caroya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Elodio couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Rodas was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Usher F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Lartaun. Isidoro Jurgi, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Sabino during the 56th minute. Usher F.C.'s Arturo Rodas got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caroya walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
