The tension between the Puntilla and the Medrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Puntilla's Lorenzo Natanael got a free kick in the 9th minute. Melchor Benvido hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Guido Policarpio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornelio Aritza was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Cornelio Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dalmacio Sarracino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Anibal Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Puntilla's Emilio Viator sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teo Hurko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Medrano getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Anibal Vimaro hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Dalmacio Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Aritza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Dalmacio Sarracino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Puntilla's Cornelio Aritza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Guido Policarpio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Guido Policarpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lorenzo Natanael came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Puntilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Natanael couldn't finish the play. Dalmacio Sarracino's late challenge caught a Puntilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dalmacio Sarracino helped the player get up and apologised. Dalmacio Sarracino hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Medrano's Guido Policarpio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cornelio Aritza. That made the score 2-1 after 83 minutes of play. Medrano's Teo Hurko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Natanael in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Viator in the 94th minute of play forced Medrano's goalkeeper Teo Hurko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puntilla's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
