Spiridon Yanyov struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Geronimo Pacorro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Congreso N. Ciudadano. 12 minutes into the match, Sebastian Sengrat notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Copacabana FC's Geronimo Pacorro. Geronimo Pacorro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Congreso N. Ciudadano's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Milian came free, but Tobias Iztal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Ticho kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Copacabana FC's Teodoro Milian got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th minute, Congreso N. Ciudadano's Spiridon Yanyov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Geronimo Pacorro. Geronimo Pacorro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Sebastian Sengrat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Congreso N. Ciudadano's Spiridon Yanyov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Spiridon Yanyov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geronimo Pacorro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. The supporters of Congreso N. Ciudadano booed when Copacabana FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Naelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimeno Nikola hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes Copacabana FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Nikola.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Milian to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Congreso N. Ciudadano's zone, Nestor Naelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Iztal came out of the goal and Nestor Naelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Pacorro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spiridon Yanyov's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Spiridon Yanyov in the 66th minute of play forced Copacabana FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Pacorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Copacabana FC defense, Sven-Oskar Samuelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Pacorro. The Copacabana FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Pacorro should have stopped the shot. Congreso N. Ciudadano's Ismael Haritz was substituted for Spiridon Yanyov. Geronimo Pacorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Haritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Tobias Iztal made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Humberto Orain sent off a good shot on target.
