An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Formerio in the 13th minute of play forced Blazters's goalkeeper Leandro Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Andres Baraquiel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Roderigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Blazters booed when Guzmán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Baraquiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvano Bladi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Blazters's Aaron Mercurio threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celso Geleberto, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Guzmán AFC defense, Silvano Bladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Mercurio. The Guzmán AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Mercurio should have stopped the shot. If Elpidio Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celso Geleberto was the one to do the kick off. Aaron Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso Geleberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Celso Geleberto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Celso Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aaron Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Celso Geleberto came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Blazters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celso Geleberto couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Guzmán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Geleberto came free, but Aaron Mercurio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Guzmán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Romo. Filiberto Eneto missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 69 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Aaron Mercurio right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Silvano Bladi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blazters's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Bladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Mercurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Guzmán AFC defense, Silvano Bladi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Mercurio. The Guzmán AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Mercurio should have stopped the shot. Leandro Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Mouricio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 88 minutes into the game, Silvio Ruy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blazters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guzmán AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Blazters's Silvio Ruy got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute of the match Inocencio Santana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Roderigo skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Elpidio Jurdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Blazters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guzmán AFC the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Gavino Formerio made a precise shot to the right of Leandro Roderigo. Blazters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Aaron Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Blazters were the better team. Blazters's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
