Coropampa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Victorino Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Milian having to interfere. In the 25th minute Victorino Ramone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Milian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorino Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Gerardo Milian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Arnulfo Quexal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Argoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quilmes FC's goalkeeper Arnulfo Quexal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Alfredo Argoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Quexal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Victorino Ramone had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Milian. Coropampa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorino Ramone was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Quilmes FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
