Arnoldo Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. If Everardo Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dionisio Jayvier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Arnoldo Montez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Everardo Bermudo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lunlunta AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24th minute Cecilio Tomi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Kiliz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Lunlunta AFC's Feliciano Bernal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Lunlunta AFC from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Bermudo was the one to do the kick off. Intelectuales's Arnoldo Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Intelectuales from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute, Ermegildo Chale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 58 played minutes Lunlunta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Bermudo. If Cecilio Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute of the match Mariano Elia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoldo Montez skillfully saved the ball. Feliciano Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Lordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lunlunta AFC's Mariano Elia shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnoldo Montez but with some difficulty. Everardo Bermudo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Arnoldo Montez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Lunlunta AFC's Dionisio Jayvier got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the match, Dionisio Jayvier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Montez. Intelectuales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dionisio Jayvier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Everardo Bermudo in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnoldo Montez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ermegildo Chale came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Lunlunta AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Chale couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Intelectuales's goalkeeper Arnoldo Montez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Bermudo. Everardo Bermudo's late challenge caught a Intelectuales's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Bermudo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lunlunta AFC's Everardo Bermudo got a free kick in the 91st minute. The Intelectuales fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lunlunta AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
