In the 8th minute, Celedonio Dominix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelino Maule didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cleto Colon went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Espigas's goalkeeper Leonel Ipar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Loreto booed when Espigas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Loreto's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Colon came free, but Angelino Maule reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angelino Maule showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Angelino Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Dominix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mateo Bilintx came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Loreto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateo Bilintx couldn't finish the play. Espigas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Vinicio Madaleno scored to the left of an out of position Leonel Ipar, making the score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, Loreto's Eliseo Ladio got a free kick in the 36th minute. Leonel Ipar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Bilintx in the 41st minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cleto Colon was the one to do the kick off. Leandro Cesario struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Leonel Ipar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loreto. Mateo Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Leonel Ipar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Angelino Maule managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Espigas's Celedonio Dominix fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 66th minute, Vinicio Madaleno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Loreto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 69 minutes into the game, Adolfo Martxelin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espigas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loreto the free kick. In the 69th minute, Adolfo Martxelin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celedonio Dominix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Angelino Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cleto Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Maule having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Celedonio Dominix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espigas's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Dominix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelino Maule breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Colon struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Angelino Maule didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espigas. After 90 minutes, Ciro Eutor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espigas and the Loreto players grew even worse after the yellow card. 97 minutes into the match, Espigas's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Bilintx came free, but Leonel Ipar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Loreto were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Espigas for a fine match.
