After 7 played minutes, Portezuelo's Marcelino Caton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Godofredo Dino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Portezuelo reached it. With his leg Godofredo Dino managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Portezuelo's Clodoveo Enekoitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Linkin Maiik FC's goalkeeper Godofredo Dino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Portezuelo's Clodoveo Enekoitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godofredo Dino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Portezuelo were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Linkin Maiik FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelino Caton took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Marcelino Caton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Godofredo Dino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ovidio Argina scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Lizer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th match minute, Linkin Maiik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Sazon to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes of play, Portezuelo's Clodoveo Enekoitz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Dino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ubaldo Chorche charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Chorche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Linkin Maiik FC's Ubaldo Chorche got a free kick in the 30th minute. With his leg Godofredo Dino managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Portezuelo's Clodoveo Enekoitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bernabe Corderun lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Marcelino Caton shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Linkin Maiik FC's Godofredo Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Aurken in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Linkin Maiik FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Aurken came free, but Godofredo Dino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zacarias Aurken was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Linkin Maiik FC's zone, Martin Cloyo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Dino came out of the goal and Martin Cloyo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Linkin Maiik FC's Godofredo Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Aurken in the 63rd minute of play. Godofredo Dino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Aurken in the 65th minute of play. Linkin Maiik FC's Horacio Sazon got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Portezuelo's Emiliano Lizer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Portezuelo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tiburcio Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linkin Maiik FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiburcio Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Lizer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Chorche kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Martin Cloyo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Ubaldo Chorche got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 89th minute Clodoveo Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Dino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Enekoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
