Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Salomone started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Corcovado's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Rios came free, but Flavio Mendiko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Corcovado booed when Vilela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Vilela's Ruben Sandalio got control of the ball when Leopoldo Salomone tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonel Berdaitz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ruben Sandalio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corcovado. Corcovado's Leopoldo Salomone got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leopoldo Salomone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venancio Manuelo's late challenge caught a Vilela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Manuelo helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Corcovado got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Manuelo. Flavio Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Vladimiro Rios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27thth minute of the game Leopoldo Salomone who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilela's Ruben Sandalio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonel Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ruben Sandalio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Sandalio having to interfere. Ruben Sandalio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Salomone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Leonel Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonel Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Sandalio having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Ruben Sandalio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 43rd minute, Leonel Berdaitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corcovado fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vilela's Ruben Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Salomone in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Rios was the one to do the kick off. Ruben Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Salomone in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Corcovado booed when Vilela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Shantala didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corcovado's Leonel Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aquiles Perfecto charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquiles Perfecto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Vilela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Salomone notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Vilela's Ruben Sandalio. Ruben Sandalio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 98 minutes, Jonathan Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vilela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Sasoin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Corcovado players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
