The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Maciá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Bartolome to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Maciá AFC's Fabian Bidari got control of the ball when Pascual Ramirez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Andres Erlantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Esdras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maciá AFC's Fabian Bidari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Maciá AFC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pascual Ramirez got free with Fabian Bidari in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Maciá AFC booed when Uribelarrea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Reynaldo Rudolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Eriz in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Maciá AFC's goalkeeper Fabian Bidari had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Esdras. Maciá AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eustacio Esdras 22 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Fabian Bidari made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Pascual Ramirez sent off a good shot on target. Paulo Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Rudolfo having to interfere. Uribelarrea FC's Reynaldo Rudolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Hunfredo in the 39th minute of play. Adan Guter hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Paulo Hunfredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Reynaldo Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fabian Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Ramirez in the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Maciá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustacio Esdras came free, but Fabian Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Justo Silviano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Eriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Reynaldo Rudolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Bidari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Esdras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Maciá AFC defense, Eustacio Esdras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabian Bidari. The Maciá AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabian Bidari should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Uribelarrea FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eustacio Esdras hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Esdras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Bidari was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustacio Esdras in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabian Bidari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 87th play minute Emilio Eriz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Reynaldo Rudolfo. 2-2. Pascual Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Bidari having to interfere. Justo Silviano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Reynaldo Rudolfo made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
