Saul Bernal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Delmar Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Domingos Socorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delmar Guifre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 29 minutes into the match, Arsenio Favila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Paz. Poshos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arsenio Favila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Delmar Guifre came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Poshos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Guifre couldn't finish the play. If Ruperto Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Pere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dario Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Arsenio Favila made a precise shot to the right of Dario Paz. Poshos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Dario Paz made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Ruperto Gauargi sent off a good shot on target. Jose Boniel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cesar Pere. Olta FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Delmar Guifre struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Cesar Pere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poshos. Dario Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Favila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Delmar Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Pere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Arnoldo Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poshos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Platon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesar Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Guifre in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Saul Bernal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Pere was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Dario Paz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsenio Favila in the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Delmar Guifre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Pere. Olta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Guifre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Delmar Guifre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Olta FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Poshos's much stronger midfield.
