Bayern Münich FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avellaneda the free kick. The supporters of Avellaneda booed when Bayern Münich FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Mantzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Betadur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Otoniel came free with the goalkeeper in the 20th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bernardino Gonza could save by the left post. After 24 played minutes Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Ramone. Godfredo Betadur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bernardino Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Llorenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Marques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 39 in the game by Felipe Otoniel from a close distance when the talented Bernardino Gonza managed to make a qualified save. Avellaneda's players were relieved. When Godfredo Betadur came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Bayern Münich FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Godfredo Betadur couldn't finish the play. Felipe Otoniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Felipe Otoniel made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Bayern Münich FC's Wilfredo Mantzio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Gonza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Felipe Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda's Herminio Vimaro got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Otoniel in the 60th minute of play forced Avellaneda's goalkeeper Bernardino Gonza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Godfredo Betadur ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Gonza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Felipe Otoniel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Gonza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bayern Münich FC. Godfredo Betadur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Gonza having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Avellaneda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bayern Münich FC:s goal. Godfredo Betadur might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Gonza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Betadur ran back to his position shaking his head. Avellaneda's Bernardino Gonza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Otoniel in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Felipe Otoniel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Gonza. Avellaneda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Otoniel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Vladimiro Ralondo's late challenge caught a Bayern Münich FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Ralondo helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Ralondo. When Wilfredo Mantzio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. In the 96th match minute, Bayern Münich FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Mantzio to maneuver through the defense.
