Spectators: 6696 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jacinto Almeida kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Jacinto Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Matro was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. After having played for 7 minutes, Jacinto Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Union FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacinto Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Paul charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Paul the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 19 minutes of play, Real Union FC's Maximino Ibar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Matro was left in no man's land by his defense there! With 25 minutes on the clock, Délio Tepedino commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Real Union FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Délio Tepedino hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Teofilo Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Teofilo Columbo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiburcio Mendiko kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Ancón FC booed when Real Union FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volkmar Flögl didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jacinto Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Real Union FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Almeida couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Ancón FC's zone, Jacinto Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Matro came out of the goal and Jacinto Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teofilo Columbo to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Teofilo Columbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 played minutes Ancón FC got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Diegotxe. Ricardo Matro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Almeida's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Tiburcio Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Real Union FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cirilo Odilon hit a great ball. Volkmar Flögl kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute of the match Cristian Paul sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Geofredo skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Hugo Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Union FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hugo Urtungo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Real Union FC's Jacinto Almeida dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Almeida in the 74th minute of play forced Ancón FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Urtungo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ricardo Matro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Union FC. Amador Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Columbo in the 79th minute of play. Jacinto Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Matro having to interfere. Jacinto Almeida took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricardo Matro. Ricardo Matro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ricardo Matro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Almeida in the 91st minute of play. After 92 minutes, Jacinto Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Union FC and the Ancón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 94 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Goi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Geofredo. Real Union FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Goi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Real Union FC played a much better game than Ancón FC and deserved their victory. The Ancón FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
