Carmelo Martinez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Tulios FC. After recieving a nice pass, Carrizalito's Candido Bernebe tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 12th match minute, Carrizalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. Faustino Havier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 minutes of play, MZ Tulios FC's Fernando Eli made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carmelo Martinez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Fidel Olayo got free with Saverio Urko in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Carrizalito getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Fidel Olayo hit a great ball. After 38th play minutes Faustino Havier shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Carmelo Martinez and just under the crossbar into goal. Sergio Orti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Martinez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Eli, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Carmelo Martinez came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Tulios FC's Fernando Eli. But to his dismay, Fernando Eli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Havier was the one to do the kick off. Carrizalito's Carmelo Martinez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Carrizalito from getting a goal against them. The supporters of MZ Tulios FC booed when Carrizalito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Bernebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Eli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carmelo Martinez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Victor Haitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saverio Urko was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Jeronimo Bernaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faustino Havier took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Martinez. Carmelo Martinez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrizalito's goalkeeper Carmelo Martinez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Faustino Havier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 79thth minute, Carmelo Martinez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The long shot by Jeronimo Bernaldo in the 81st minute really tested Carmelo Martinez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Faustino Havier had several of the Carrizalito's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-6 score and a disappointed Carmelo Martinez as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Gervasio Nesor fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carrizalito's protests and gave Gervasio Nesor a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Carrizalito getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gervasio Nesor hit a great ball. Faustino Haviers short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Carmelo Martinez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. MZ Tulios FC's Ciriaco Matia was substituted for Sergio Orti. The Carrizalito supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MZ Tulios FC's performance. The match ended with a win for MZ Tulios FC.
