Baltasar Garin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Maraman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Playo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Matro having to interfere. Ovidio Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Playo in the 46th minute of the match. If Sixto Maraman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 53rd match minute, Cruz Azul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nunez Sanchez to maneuver through the defense. Mariano Patxi lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 56 played minutes Tablillas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Mariano Patxi. Baltasar Garin made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Benigno Frances sent off a good shot on target. Desiderio Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ovidio Matro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucio Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Garin having to interfere. Conrado Clis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Matro having to interfere. Desiderio Fix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tablillas AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Fix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match Primitivo Tino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Matro skillfully saved the ball. Desiderio Fix took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Matro. Ovidio Matro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Tablillas AFC's Baltasar Garin got control of the ball when Roman Federigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sixto Maraman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Baltasar Garin. That made the score 2-1 in the 93 minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tablillas AFC had played much better football throughout.
